Class Cancellation
The Arts Institute reserves the right to cancel any class or group instruction
for which there is insufficient registration. A full refund will be provided in
the event that classes are cancelled.
Attendance
Students have contracted for the instructor’s time, and must pay for each class
regardless of attendance.
Class or lesson observation
Parents may observe a lesson or session that involves their child only with the
prior approval of the instructor.
Absence
Due to the fact that instructors are in Dayton solely for this institute, missed
classes will not have opportunity for make up.
Withdrawal/Refund
Refunds will not be given if students withdraw from classes. It is expected that
you attend all classes as registered. Due to the nature of this event, missed
workshops or lessons cannot be made up at a later date.
Facilities
The Arts Institute is located in the University of Dayton’s ArtStreet Center on
the campus of the University of Dayton. ArtStreet is a unique learning and
living arts complex located in the heart of the South Student Neighborhood at
the University of Dayton. Providing housing for 58 juniors and seniors of all
majors, ArtStreet combines innovative living spaces with multi-purpose studio
facilities. ArtStreet is a part of the Learning Village, a university initiative
to integrate academic and experiential learning with residential and community
living.
Parking
Free parking will be made available to all workshop participants. Signs will be
posted outside ArtStreet indicating where to park.
Check in
Check in for classes will be held at the main entrance to the ArtStreet
facility. ArtStreet will accommodate most classes but a few will be held in
adjacent facilities. Please check in at ArtStreet at lease a half hour ahead of
any scheduled class for directions and information.
